Art in the Park 2

This was one of the pieces that did have a label. It was sculpted by Nicole Brousse more of whom here and is entitled "L'infini" I've only managed to catch a part of it as the ropes did get in the way no matter what angle I took it from. Briefly the entire sculpture was a series of several women's bodies disappearing into the ground. There was a strong sense of movement in all the pieces though the left hand and centre ones were my favourites overall..

Interesting. Don't quite know what to make of it but it's certainly playful.

Now THAT'S an unusual take; would love to see the end piece. Now, isn't there a myth about the underground?? Wasn't Persephone the queen of the Underworld?

Persephone was the queen of the underworld Kate. 6ths underground for eating part of a pomegranate. hey are really weird and strangely beautiful.

Intéressant le mariage entre ces sculptures d'un style classique et l'environnement de la pelouse. Pourrait-on avoir d'autres images sous un autre angle ?
