One Sunny Saturday: Wedding Photos

A wedding is a wedding...right? Well, no, actually. There are all kinds of differences between the way a wedding is celebrated in the UK and France alone and we're both European countries.

The first French wedding I was invited to I remember being amazed at the hours of painstaking attention to detail that went into the photos alone. First the formal photos of family and guests were taken outside the beautiful church then we spent 2 hours in a local park while the bride and groom were photographed in a series of romantic settings. The photos were works of art and a pleasure to look at. I do wonder who took custody of them after the divorce though...

Anyway I stumbled across this lovely couple having theirs taken in the park at the chateau. I love the back of her dress and those little flowers in her hair so very, very romantic....I wish them happiness in their future together..

Lovely photographs. In the US the guests arrive right before the ceremony and are not a part of the photographing of the bridal party. Interesting how different countries do things.

That couple would do well to have YOU as their photographer; great shots!
