It Was A Dark And Stormy Night...

I wasn't strictly in Nice when I took this but the light was so dramatic with some sort of storm building up that I had to capture it. The wind started to blow soon after and we had a tempestuous night when it was impossible to sleep.

Thank you Angela for visiting my new Guelph blog. I appreciate it.

This is a wonderful photo of a stormy sky and the colours of the trees is brilliant!

I'll be back!

I agree with Pat`s opinion about your photo. It`s dramatic and tells well,
what is happening there.
Have a nice week end!

Was it a mistral? I believe you can get them that far south, right?
Wonderfully sinister sky;-)

Gorgeous golden light, Angela.

We do get the Mistral, Isabella, though this one blew in from a slightly different direction possibly South West.
The sky was the colour of a bruise and suddenly a shaft of sunlight hit the garden. I thought it was the end of the world!
And Ben, from you that's a real compliment.
Pat and mimmu: thanks for dropping by and taking the time to comment...

The best reason for carrying your camera with you at all times is to capture the light when it desides to present its self to you. Nice Shot, beautiful colors!!

You're getting quite adept with that camera. Beautiful contrasts. Happy rest of the weekend.

This is a second try at sending you a comment. I love this photograph. Dark and Stormy night indeed - very evocative - am not sure you need a new camera with shots like this!

Well done. love J xxx
