In The Garden.

Home for the weekend and the weather's balmy, almost too balmy to do the gardening.
Inspired by Abe I've decided to get close up and personal to take this photo of wild orchids in the far corner under the trees. Originally I wanted to be able to identify it: it's called limodorum abortivum. So now I know what it's called and more importantly what it needs.
Tucked away in a quiet corner these 14 orchids are my "hidden gem"

Wild orchids seem to do well in my garden too. It's the cultivated ones, which I bring home, that die on me :-(
Nice job, Angela. And your allergies must be better if you venture outside..

Just beautiful Angela. I see wild orchids occasionally on a walk but nothing like as beautiful as this one. Lucky you having 14 wild ones in your garden. A hidden gem - you said it.
