Le Bar sur Loup
Le Bar is a strange little village: it's very picturesque, its houses are sensitively restored, the views down the Loup Gorges is magnificent and it has something of the flavour of real France but property prices are more reasonable here than elsewhere.
That's partly because of the weather. Storms that brew in the mountains are funneled through here by those very gorges and it can really rain...
But on a good day, on a good day it's unbeatable...
Thanks for coming to yesterday's celebration. It was good fun..
For Ming: Chocolat Liegeois. This is composed of a ball of chocolate ice cream in a tall glass followed by a ball of vanilla ice cream, pour over some chocolate sauce, followed by whipped cream then decorate with chocolate chips. It's easy to make and eat but definitely not light...

This looks delightful. I love your tours of the villages around you. I have two lots of friends who live in Bar sur Loup so one day must visit. One day, one day....
lovely photograph - just charming
A delightful spot that could become a fine watercolour. Nice photo.
j'espere que tu n'as pas fait une indigestion de cafe liegois ;o).
beau village.
Je te souhaite un bon weekend
This photo reminds me of La Rocque D'Anteron, where I stayed for a couple of days. It brings back wonderful memories of my trip.
Wonderful!
I have posted a photo of the missing UK girl Madeleine in the hope that the more people see her, the more chance she may be found. Please take a sec to pop over to Cheltenham, to put her face in your head. Thanks to you and your readers.
I love the name! And would be willing to withstand those storms to be able to enjoy days like this one...(just for a month or so, you understand ;-)
Based on this photo, I agree that on good days, it must be unbeatable. :-)
That street looks so narrow. I'd hate to be in there if someone crashes into the corner. Lovely photo.
