Cagnes sur Mer: La Ville Velo

Last weekend was the weekend of the bike in Cagnes sur Mer:
It's always seemed a pity to me that a busy, busy road hogs this lovely coastline and it was nice to see it taken over by a less aggressive form of transport. (Though that wasn't what I was saying when I was stuck in a traffic jam behind all those cyclists who took to the streets!)

I agree - it's terrible having that road along the coast but then how would we poor mortals see that lovely piece of the Cote d'Azur?
What is worse is the high rise apartments that really spoil the view.
By the way I will be spending a week in Mougins in August - any suggestions on places to visit? Grasse is obviously on the itinerary, we have previously visited St Paul de Vence but is Cannes worth a visit?

Great series. I was unwittingly in the middle of a bicycle race, and had to pull off into a field. The gendarme wasn't amused at all .. .
