Summer Nights

My computer which has been throwing hissy fits for a while now finally turned up its toes and died this week and, of course, there was a huge amount of stuff, photos, lessons for my English courses, family tree, which I hadn't backed up. Mea culpa. You can all guess the moral of this sad story...
Not being one to sink into a decline, though, I bought a new hard drive, started things rolling and headed for the village party. The entertainment was provided by a band, Tropical Zouk and the entrance was free though the tropical rum punch was not which was probably a good thing!

When the going gets tough, the tough get going to the village party. I like that attitude. The light in your photograph is great. The sky is soft and lovely and the bandstand just glows. Hmmm, rum punch, that brings back memories of a night in the Cayman Islands. Caution recommended!!

I'm glad that a bit of rum could ameliorate your techie blues!

Looks like it was about to be a fun night. I'm practicing night shots at the moment - and somewhat struggling.

Tropical rum punch would be the perfect antidote for hissy fits.
Sorry to hear the sad news. I reckon a computer nerd could recover your lost files. I hope you go down this path and wish you all the best.
