Fashion Street.

...also known as Rue Alphonse Karr which is part of what's known as the golden triangle of Nice shopping streets. In other words leave your plastic at home and wear blinkers as you walk past the shops. I found the Marc Jacobs shoes here...

Nice veut faire de la concurrence avec Paris ;o)).

I'd rather have shops on the street than shops in malls, which is mostly all that we have here. Maybe that's why I never liked shopping. Something like this might just make me a shopper though.

As Olivier wrote, this reminds "Louis" of Paris.

(People elsewhere in France probably get tired of Parisian comparisons!)

I'm trying to divest myself of shopping urges . . . but your photo is so beguiling.

Love the banner. It could entice me without too much effort! I agree that shops on a street are far superior to shops in malls. More character, methinks! And more relaxing, too.

Was this also very expensive Channel street? Those trees look just as I remeber them gently lilting.

Is it a street that leads to Avenue Jean Medecin at the end, near the Virgin store at the right ?
