Sunday Afternoon.

Before having this camera I didn't realise:

  • how much I enjoy taking photos of water. There's something very satisfying about capturing the play of light on water rather like trying to capture liquid mercury in your hands, (not advisable)
  • exactly how many fountains there are in Nice. There must be hundreds. Which is lucky for me..
I took this one sunny Sunday in the Jardins Albert 1er.

la même chose à Evry, sauf que c'était la pluie a la place de la fontaine ;o) belle photo d'une belle journée, cela donne envie de venir se prélasser a coté de cette fontaine.

I love this, Angela. For me, it's your best yet! Well done. Well done Lumix too.

I'm with Jilly, this one's a keeper! Love the cool blues and the girl in BW makes a nice contrast.

This really captures the mood. I can almost feel the spray from that fountain.

Trop injuste vous avez tellement peu de pluie que vous faites du virtuel

A camera and certain kinds of blogs brings attention , doesn't it to certain things taken otherwise for granted.
I am glad for this opportunity as well.

I love it! That is a very beautiful shot. Tsk tsk...You shouldn't put mercury in your hands.

On a recent trip to Paris, I was amazed bby all the fountains. So few of them in my hometown. Of course half our year is below freezing. Never the less, this is a fabulous photo!
