And When You Can't Ski...
....there's always the sea..
We have a Swedish friend who went to Isola, found the black slopes closed because of the Mistral, didn't want to waste the day so drove back to the coast and went windsurfing.
Which would serve as an apt definition for "driven" I guess.
I was so happy to find this award waiting for me at North Metro Daily Photo. I've always admired DL's photos so it's an honour: two days, two awards. That's a great start to Christmas week and I'm going to milk it for all its worth and give it out 10 times, 5 for each award.

that is a lovely capture of the surf!
That's my preference between mountains and sea.
Love the pic! I am a mountain kind of guy myself but my groupies (so called because they treat their dad like a rock star!) prefer the mountains. So, Nice looks like a place that would keep everyone happy.
Oooh goodness I never tire of wave shots. I love this!
Mountains are lovely, of course, but I miss being close to the sea. Thanks for the photo!
Beautiful photo Angela! Love the foam and spray! Congrats on the award and thanks too :) Merry Christmas!
Driven is right. While I prefer just lazing the day away on the beach — and watching that beautiful surf.
Congratulations on the award, Angela! You definitely deserve it. Like DL, I think your blog's one of the coolest I know too.
Congrats on a double award!
Something that is interesting to me, you can go snow skiing to windsurfing all in one day.
Congrats....A brilliant capture.....
What a super photograph, Angela, and well illustrates how we can ski on snow or water within one day.
Well done on your award and many thanks for awarding me. Such a pretty butterfly. Really appreciate it.
You are sooooo sweet to include me in your rewards! Wow! (I clicked on the link to make sure it was for me - so silly :)
I love your shot of the waves. Nice seems even nicer than So Cal in the winter. During the winter holidays when I was 26, a group of us went skiing at Mt. Baldy about 1 1/2 hr away & then went for a walk on the beach in the afternoon - living the So Cal or South of France dream. But, I've never done that since. (Reminds me of the Fawlty Towers episode where the woman reading a Danielle Steel novel talks about how you can swim in the morning, ski in the afternoon...)
I love sea!
Nice shot.
