I'm taking a brief break from Nice but I'll be back at the weekend. The party will continue in Valbonne though, so come see me there.

Christmas decorations abound in the centre of the city. There are the obvious lit garlands above the main street itself which look glorious at night time but I do like this practice of putting displays outside shops on the side streets. The red is very cheerful and you get a lovely Christmassy feeling without having to crane your neck. Though I wasn't able to capture the whole scene, pesky shoppers getting in the way, you can imagine how nice the whole road looked with the same festive display repeated outside each shop.
