The Law Courts

The Palais de Justice, the law courts, in the old town. This is just the middle section and the whole faces on to a plaza making it very imposing.
I think it's a very graceful building in spite of its bulk. Inside, though, is a touch disappointing, a large unadorned space with rooms leading off it, metal detectors and glass elevators.

It is a lovely building - and such a stunning blue sky! (It must be wonderful to wake up to blue sky in February...!)

It does look imposing - just what the law is looking to do! I really enjoyed seeing the Niki de Sainte Phalle sculpture. There are a few here in San Diego that I showed photos of before so it was nice to see more of her work.

Thank you for your comments, Felicia and Blue boat.
Felicia:- I have looked at your archives but must have missed the sculptures. I enjoy the exuberance of her work enormously but I'd never heard of her before Blogging.
