Almost Nice: St Laurent du Var 4
For those who weren't too sure about the tajine I can offer you a choice...Le Calypso. It's opposite Le Palais de l'Orient and a bit to the left which means it's right on the sea.
I love having lunch here in the Spring; Summer's too hot and the evenings are too dark!
I can't show you a photo of the tajine but this is what I had at the Calypso: salmon with a little gratin dauphinoise and some grilled peppers.
Let me know which you prefer and I'll reserve....

si tu continues comme cela à nous faire visiter les bons restaurants, on ne va plus rentrer dans nos maillots de bains pour l'ete. Hummm cela donne envie

If you know me, I would want both. I would eat the salmon for lunch and then the tajine for dinner. :-)
How is gratin dauphinoise prepared? I've never heard of it?
