Thunder in the Mountains

A storm in a teacup really...it swept in promising mayhem and swept out half an hour later having dumped a teaspoon of water on the garden.
As Shakespeare said:
"Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.."

It could be «Much ado about nothing...», but probably, taking into account the local, «Mons parturiens...» would be more adequate.Great shot, anyhow!

Great photo, Angela! you really captured that impending doom of a thunderstorm about to break. There is a lot of depth there, too, with the light and deeper shadow under the trees.

Or " all bark and no bite" ;-)

that was quite an omnious cloud approaching! I image it must have gotten dark really fast - very impressive! The garden must be happy with all the water =)

Stunning photography.

My Theme Day is of a city unto itself, with its own zip code, and a portrait of the "Peashooter" at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hope you like flying.
