My 200th Post

You'll be pleased to hear that even though the economy is in recession, we in Nice are keeping standards high. We may no longer be able to afford to drink champagne but at least we can use the champagne bucket for washing our bikes.
Photo taken outside Wayne's, a bar in the old town which the website describes as "a cultural melting pot" If you'd like to know more about Waynes, you can read about it here in English.

My 200th post: it's been a great ride so far. I'm both surprised and pleased at having come this far and my thanks to you all for visiting and commenting...and a Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans out there...

Oh Happy BIrthday Blog and I will just have another glass of vin blanc in your honor. Love the shampoo/champagne bucket. So damn French.

Congratulations on your 200th! it's a fun ride, isn't it?
I've just been browsing on your older blogs & came upon Gourdon the Saracen - that's one incredible view - now I have another must visit place (but not in high season).

What a great pic. I love that the use of the champagne bucket.

And many many congratulations on your 200th post. If I'd not seen your first post, I'd not have started Menton DP and Monte Carlo DP so I have much to thank you for, dear Angela.

I left a response for you on Menton today - I too thought that was a baby goat - apparently not!

Champagne pour tout le monde!
C'est Wayne ou Angela qui l'offre!

When I spoke yesterday about your underlying humour, that was exactly that kind of post I was thinking.

I wish you many 200 others.

Congratulations! Sometimes it takes an act of will to keep going, but you did it! Thanks for the greetings on our special day. Justs popped the cornbread in the oven, getting ready to delivery dinners to other families, and then back home to finish ours. We'll have a great day, even without French champaign!

Thank you as always for your kind comments. This daily photo thing is amazing...I can't imagine what I did with the time before...probably had a cleaner house but I much prefer this!
Catherine..the humour thing is very much me, laughter is good for the stress levels.
