Blue Chairs

These blue chairs have been a feature on the Promenade for as long as I can remember but I notice that there are fewer of them now as they seem to be being replaced with those white benches.
After a blowy night the sea was quite agitated. I'd forgotten how exhilarating it is to walk along the sea with the wind in my hair and the waves pounding. The Med. usually has a tide of 10 inches so this was pretty exceptional...

The surf looks wonderful. And what a nice place to sit to enjoy it.

As far as I can remember, I've always seen those chairs here and every year, when I come to visit my family in Nice, I love to see that they are still some of them that haven't been replaced by benches as you said. They are an important part of "la promenade des anglais" for me!

Perfectly composed; love the blues interrupted by the white.

That's a wonderful picture. Both blue and white give a peaceful atmosphere, in contradiction with the movement of the sea. Very unusual in Nice, that's true. Weather is changing.

And with your heart pounding to the beat of the surf! Yes!

I could sit in one of these chairs for hours and simply enjoy your Mediterranean air as the sea crashes onto shore.

I despise those white cahirs. Keep the blue.
