I've Got My Eye on You..

We were back in Parc Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. The original plan was to head back for another carnival fix but enough was enough and we changed our minds while passing the park and ended up enjoying the sunshine and seeing stuff we'd missed before.
Now I don't know if these guys were there last time or if they're newly arrived but, you know, even though they were behind glass they still made my skin crawl...

(And if anyone from Parc Phoenix is reading I believe there were simply too many of these guys crammed into too small a space..)

He does look like he's looking right at you!

A couple of years back we spent spring break at the Okefenokee Swamp in South Georgia. There's tons of gators there and we were hoping to spot at least one, lol, we saw so many that we grew tired of them ha! We saw them walking in the road, basking in the sun on the boat docks and then my husband took a boat out with my older 2 kids and they saw a bunch. I stayed behind with Braden and Dalton as they were too small to sit still on a small boat while being surrounded by gators! We also took a tour boat of the swamp which was cool, saw gators EVERYWHERE! Really neat to see animals in their natural habitat!

Far better than the Carnival ! It's an impressive picture.
Thanks Angela to share this new information about Nice. This time we came in Menton by train, but when we'll come with our car, we certainly go and visit that Phoenix Parc. My little Gabriel will be so happy.

Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.

My goodness, I had no idea they had crocodiles in Nice! Great shot and a great pity to hear they are overcrowded.

One place I didn't get round to visiting. Scary image, you are braver than I am.

The caimans and alligators have been in Parc phoenix for years - but its easy to miss the place they are housed in.
They seem to have multiplied in recent years though.

The otters and porcupines are the newest animals at the parc.

I've driven through areas with guys like this along the side of the road. They always make me nervous -- what if I have car trouble?
