Skywatch: Mr Blue Sky

The Mistral has been blowing hard this week. It's been a cold wind roaring down the Rhone valley from the Swiss Alps but in terms of clearing up all the rain, fog and cloud it couldn't have been more welcome. Here's a glimpse of the blue sky it left us with...

To see the sky all over the world go check out the Skywatch website..

I like the contrast between the blue sky and the dark appearance of your balcony. Have a nice Friday!

Mr Blue Sky hits the right note on this why. Nicely done. I can imagine myself on that balcony right now.

A fabulous sky... so clear and inviting. I love the plane trail just visible across the sky, and the positioning and the shadow of the pot in front of it.
great picture! Happy SW Friday!
Mine's up too now.

Yes, the one good thing about the Mistral is that it blows all the muck away and leaves us with stunning blue skies - we have the same in Menton. What a lovely shot, Angela.
