Soaking Up The Sun
At last the weather's improving though with the Mistral that's been blowing these last few days, the sea has been definitely agitated. I was amazed that this gull sat quite calmly on a submerged rock while the waves washed over it but it was determined to enjoy those rays of sunshine..

You would think that if he planned just to stand around, he would find a warmer, dry place to stand.

Beautiful shot! Love the blue and the water movement. The sea has been completlely crazy around here too, but now it has just settled down a little and surfers are enjoying it :-)

Yes, the weather is improving, and getting warmer now. I always wonder what a wonderful blue you always get in the skies and waters :)
