Cannes Film Festival: Meet The Fans

These are hardcore fans most of whom have been coming to star gaze for many years and have set up camp in the central reservation of La Croisette directly opposite the red carpet. The ones in the best places have been there 2 days before a star even set foot in Cannes.
They had a great atmosphere going, joking with police and passers-by, eating, drinking, reading in the sun. They had parasols and ladders and I hope the weather's kind to them...
"My Blueberry Nights" hasn't received good reviews, unfortunately. I'd managed to talk to 3 people who'd had tickets and they had all enjoyed it.

A nice view of the place & nice to know about these hardcore fans, which I think is there in any kind of film festival, even here in these kind of festivals there are some who brave their age, weather or any other calamity to enjoy these festivals.

je trouve cette athmosphere amusante, surtout les gens avec leurs escabeaux. Je ne pourrais pas rester des heures sans bouger juste pour voir des acteurs et actrices, ils sont courageux.
Je te souhaite un bon week end de cinema

I am guessing most are "fans" but then some must be hopeful photographers. Nice shot.

You are likely to see the festival of Cannes. To go to the cinema, I must go to the city nearest (15 km) and it proposes only two films per week.
